Dr. Mo Omar - Periodontist BDS PhD FRCD(c)
Dr. Mo Omar’s journey began in Cairo, where he traveled 10,111 km to Edmonton to specialize in Periodontics, the art of maintaining healthy teeth and gums. After completing three years of clinical training, he dedicated an additional three years to researching the link between gum disease and heart disease, focusing on the role of genetics. His groundbreaking work led him to become the first PhD in Periodontology at the University of Alberta.
